For those in the western US there is some serious moisture passing through. Check your local forecasts models to see if the temps are agreeable for snowfall up high.
Two BC ski friends pointed out the following…
- The Cascades will see feet of snow. One friend is headed to Mt Rainier to check out the white stuff. I also saw it posted that Mt Baker has a forecast of 100+ inches during this storm!
- Another BC ski friend highlighted that there is a chance of turns possible at Lookout Pass. This would be on their mowed slopes and only if the models prove true. They showing 8-12″ coming in this weekend, fingers crossed!
Below are the links for the week. Nothing special, just a smattering of short ski clips to hopefully satiate your pallet for powder shredding soon enough…
BC SKI LINKS ROUND UP!
MOST CREATIVE POV EDIT!?!?
My mind was left reeling after watching all of the creativity put into these shots and the creative cuts. Charge indeed!
SNOWMAN COMETH
Which one of the BC ski friends is going to get this system set up at their place?
WHAT IS THIS? WEIRD, AWESOME, UNCOMFORTABLE?
Here is a silly blast from the past. I’m guessing this video dates to the Jane Fonda era of exercise videos? The video above is one of 10 parts, but if you want to see the quick mash-up compiled by someone who watched all 10 (not I) here you go… https://www.facebook.com/foundfootagefestival/videos/2655633757803452/
BC JIBBING… IF YOU’RE INTO THAT
My three ACL surgeries don’t allow for much of this any longer, but this talus field/mini-golf zone he found is rad. Backcountry jibbing at it’s finest!
Cheers to you my patient BC ski friends awaiting winter!
